We hear this a lot (most of our parents still don't know what we do). Short answer, we make your brand make sense. Longer answer, we do a lot of research, find the place where you can shine, and build your brand around that. Over time we’ve developed a process, it’s not rocket science, but we like to think it works pretty damn well - or maybe we’re just saying that to woo you.

This process can be drilled down to three words: DEFINE. DESIGN. ACTIVATE. This is the essence of what we do.

DEFINE is our foundation. We dive into your business to understand who you are and find that hidden gem of an idea. Then we poke, prod, and challenge that idea, making sure it’s rock solid. This provides us with a clear vision of who your brand is and its values, mission, and positioning. We then work with senior management and key stakeholders to ensure everyone is aligned. This alignment is crucial, without it, equity is lost through a watering down of the plan. If everyone is aligned, we can build towards growth.

DESIGN is what everyone thinks of as your typical branding engagement. This is where the concepts become tangible. Your logo and supporting assets, like typography and color palette, come to life. We begin with directional samples, iterating and refining the look & feel until an amazing identity emerges, aligning the DESIGN with the DEFINE stage.

ACTIVATE brings all the pieces together. Internal activation may be the most overlooked step of a new brand. If change doesn’t start from within the organization, it will never be effective externally. We will create guides, communications, and repositories to help educate your internal team on the future of the brand. Externally we can create independently, or work hand-in-hand with in-house teams, to build all the supporting assets needed to launch your new identity and maintain consistency.
